The hospital qualified for the magazine’s “Honoe Roll” in its 2009 edition of America’s Best Children’ s Hospitals. The Honor Roll is reserved for hospitalsx that achieved ranking in all surveyed specialty areas coverefd by the monthlynews publication. Children’s rankeds in the top 10 in sixspecialty areas, includinv cancer (No. 10), diabetes and endocrine disorders (No. 10), digestive disorderas (No. 5), neonatal care (No. 8), orthopedicse (No. 8) and respiratory disorderd (No. 5). Last Children’s was ranked No. 7 overall amonhg the nation’s pediatric hospitals. In it finished at No. 4.
Because of a change in how the reportwas compiled, therd was no general numerical rankingy this year.
