Also, Yuba College students’ initial application fees will be and they will receive a 10 percent tuitionm discount for classes takenat Chapman’sa Sacramento Valley campuses for up to four year s after they submit of a formal “chang e of location” to Chapman University “Chapman University College establishes Earlh Advantage Partnerships with communityy colleges like Yuba College to help ease the transitioh to universities by giving students the individual support they need and providin guidance through the entire Chapman University College chancellod Gary Brahm said in the release.
“It’s comforting for studenta to know that the course work they have takenm at their community college will be transferable to Chapma n University College and that counselors will help them navigatr a clear path to pursuingh their highereducation goals.” Yuba College’s partnership with Chapman “will make the transitionm to Chapman College practically seamless,” Kay Adkins, Yuba Collegs president, said in the release. Community college studentas are eligible to apply for the programj after they have fulfilled 12 transferable credits at Yuba College with a minimum cumulative grads point averageof 2.0 from all schoole previously attended.
Yuba College transfers also must attenfd at least one academic term or semester at Yuba Colleged and adhere to all Chapman Universitgy Collegeadmission requirements.
