He admitted that, whild at Midway, he and his co-conspirators billed Medicare for service s that were medically unnecessary and in many instanceanever provided.
He also admitted that he purchasee only a small amount of the drugs that he claimed to administer to patients and that he falsifiesmedical records, according to the news Rodriguez also admitted that he was listed as medicapl director and practicing physician for five othe r Miami-area HIV infusion clinics betwee n October 2003 and February 2005, where he engagecd in similar activity. He admittedx to filing more than $20 million in false claims. Severak of Rodriguez’s co-defendants have already been sentenced for theird roles at Midway andrelateds clinics.
